In order to see how many people are accessing your site, and from which referrer URL, add Sitemeter to your site. You just need to create an account on sitemeter (free) and then add the appropriate code to your template.

If you are creating a site that is regionally-specific, you may want to include the region's weather. If US-based, go to weather.com and complete their web-based form to grab some code to include in your blog template.

alex, something is going on with my blog. it keeps showing the html code and i didnt change anything in the template since before spring break! And its random, because it will work on one computer and not the next. Can you look at my code to see what is going on? I cant figure it out!

I noticed that too, yesterday, when I tried to look at your blog. So, it's def not just you. Hope you figure it out.
odd ... i have never had a problem with it (was checking it a couple of days ago) ... unless i see the problem it will be hard for me to 'debug'
next time you see a problem, e-mail me directly and also include the type of browser you are using and the operating system etc.
